BEFORE YOUR MASSAGE
DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING TO PREPARE FOR MY MASSAGE?
Yes! Drink plenty of water, avoid heavy meals right before your session, and wear comfortable clothing. Arriving a few minutes early can also help you transition into relaxation mode.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR DURING A MASSAGE?
You can undress to your level of comfort. Most clients choose to remove clothing except for underwear, but you will always be properly draped with a sheet or towel. If you prefer to stay clothed, certain techniques (like Thai or stretching-focused massages) can be done over lightweight clothing.
CAN I GET A MASSAGE IF I’M PREGNANT?
Absolutely! Prenatal massage is specifically designed for pregnant clients and can help with discomfort, swelling, and stress. Please let me know if you’re expecting so I can adjust techniques for your safety and comfort.ur goals!
DURING YOUR MASSAGE
WILL THE MASSAGE BE PAINFUL?
It depends on the type of massage and your tolerance. Some deeper techniques, like deep tissue or trigger point therapy, can cause temporary discomfort, but I always work within your comfort level. Communication is key— You’re in control—if you ever want adjustments, just let me know.
CAN I TALK DURING MY MASSAGE?
Absolutely! Some clients enjoy chatting, while others prefer silence. This is your time to relax—do whatever makes you feel most at ease.
WHAT IF I FALL ASLEEP?
That’s completely normal and even a good sign! It means you’re deeply relaxed, which is one of the best benefits of massage therapy.
AFTER YOUR MASSAGE
WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER MY MASSAGE?
Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins released during the massage. Avoid heavy meals and alcohol immediately after your session, and try to take it easy to maximize the benefits.
WILL I BE SORE AFTER A MASSAGE?
You might feel mild soreness, especially after deep tissue work—similar to post-workout muscle soreness. This usually fades within a day or two. Drinking water, stretching, and taking a warm bath can help.
